Awaken and align your body with this Vinyasa Yoga class, available to all levels. Vinyasa means 'to place in a special way', so in this class we will be moving the body mindfully, using the breath with awareness as I guide you through a series of postures that will stretch, move and rest the body. Each class will start with breath work, then moving through a series of postures (asanas) ebbing and flowing between steady and slow speeds that will lead into a relaxing ending (savasana) and guided meditation all with a pumping soundtrack but ending on those relaxing and rejuvenating sounds, ready to head into your day and weekend! This class is open for all levels, as options will be given to deepen your practice when ready. If you have medical injuries or conditions please make sure to check with your GP or Physio before attending. This class is every Friday morning 9:30 - 10:45am at Cedar Barn Hall. Please bring: - mat - blocks or straps (equipment to assist you) - water - blanket or warm clothes for cool down and relaxation at the end If you need equipment please let me know prior to the class and I can lend a mat but I only have a few available.
